Alfredo Hoyos

Originally from Juárez, Mexico, Alfredo brings both professional expertise and personal experience to his role as President of The Arc of Bartholomew County. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Systems and Computer Engineering from UACJ (Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez) and currently serves as a Test Manager for Cummins Emissions Solutions.

Alfredo and his wife, Liz, have been married for 18 years and are the proud parents of two teenagers, Criscia and Ivan. When both of their children were diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at the age of three, Alfredo and his family began a journey that deepened their understanding of advocacy, inclusion, and the importance of community support. These experiences continue to inspire his commitment to improving opportunities and resources for individuals with disabilities and their families.

In addition to serving on the Board of Directors and as President of The Arc of Bartholomew County, Alfredo is an active member of the Neurodiversity Employee Resource Group at Cummins, where he supports awareness and inclusion initiatives within the workplace.

When he is not working or volunteering, Alfredo enjoys spending time with his family, whether that means catching a movie, relaxing at home, or caring for their pets—two dogs, Lola and Spike, and a guinea pig named Frenchy.

Through his leadership, personal experiences, and dedication to advocacy, Alfredo is committed to helping build a more inclusive community where individuals with disabilities can thrive and reach their full potential.
